Learn how to set up and use the PnW Manager bot

Getting Started

1. Invite the Bot

Invite the PnW Manager bot to your Discord server using the invite link. The bot requires the following permissions:

  • Manage Roles (for auto-roles)
  • Manage Channels (for war rooms and tickets)
  • Send Messages
  • Embed Links
  • Read Message History
  • Add Reactions
  • Use Slash Commands

2. Set Your Alliance

Link your Discord server to your Politics and War alliance:

/settings alliance <alliance_id>

Find your alliance ID on the Politics and War website in your alliance URL.

3. Set Up API Keys

For full functionality, configure your API keys:

/settings apikey <your_pnw_api_key>

Get your API key from Politics and War Account Settings. For bank operations, you'll also need bot keys with appropriate permissions.

4. Configure Channels

Set up your alert and log channels:

/settings channel alerts #war-alerts
/settings channel logs #bot-logs

5. Register Members

Have your members link their Discord accounts to their nations:

/register <nation_id>

Members must have their Discord ID set in their nation settings for verification.
